One of Castelli's warmest base layers now has a built-in neck warmer. The concept for this came from an INEOS Grenadiers focus group, with riders wanting a really warm base layer that could be pulled up over the face on descents.
Constructed from SottoZero fabric that offers both insulation and breathability, the Flanders Warm High Neck Base Layer was made for the coldest training conditions that northern Europe experiences.
It features a high-loft fleece on the inside that provides cosy warmth and feels soft against your skin. It's also excellent at moisture management, especially with the inclusion of mesh underarm inserts.
The stretchy fabric offers a perfect fit, and when you add in soft, flat-lock seams, you have a base layer that will fit beautifully under your winter bib shorts, with no bunching or rubbing.
