The Crankbrothers Mallet Trail BOA® clip-in shoe is the perfect blend of performance and adventure. Built for the trail or your next enduro race, the Mallet Trail BOA® offers all-day comfort paired with ultimate racing performance.

A lightweight yet durable rip-stop upper features a TPU-reinforced toe box for enhanced protection and a flexible collar around the ankle to prevent debris from entering the shoe. In addition, a fiber-reinforced shank and aggressive outsole lug pattern bring pedaling efficiency and all-terrain versatility to every ride.

Crankbrothers innovative Match System optimizes engagement for any MTB clip-in system, whether that’s Crankbrothers or SPD. It comes with a Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in a neutral position—ready to ride with Crankbrothers pedals right out of the box.

Features the BOA® Fit System Li2 dual-direction micro-adjustment dial for a precise fit, paired with a quick-adjust hook-and-loop strap for heel retention and stability. The rip-stop upper provides durability without adding weight, while the TPU-reinforced toe box offers added protection from impacts.

Elastic Collar

A lightweight and breathable elastic collar helps keep trail debris out while maintaining comfort and flexibility around the ankle.

Match Box

The ramped cleat box provides easy pedal entry and efficient mud shedding. An extended 35mm cleat track allows for rearward cleat positioning for added control when descending. The cleat box depth supports optimal shoe-to-pedal contact out of the box.

Match Compound

Built with the mid-friction MC1 rubber compound for reliable grip, ease of pedal entry/exit, and long-lasting durability.

Match Outsole

The newly designed Trail tread pattern provides a balance of grip and walkability, while maintaining an optimized pedal interface. A stiff fiber-reinforced nylon shank enhances power transfer, and the low-rebound EVA midsole helps absorb vibration for a smoother ride.
