The Castelli Core Drill Women's Shorts are designed for training and racing sprint distance Triathlons, with a 750m swim, 0km bike and 5km run. They're suited to this length thanks to the low-key fleece seat liner that replaces a less run-friendly seat pad.
During the cycle, the liner will smooth out and add cushioning, but when you start to run it will disappear. And, being slender, it won't stay wet for long after the swim.
