The clutch uses a proprietary ratchet-and-pawl tension assembly for more durable and stronger chain management over rough terrain. This modular design is also easily adjustable and fully repairable.
The derailleur kinematics are also precisely tuned to use a more direct cable path, making the shifting response consistent across all gears. With bombproof construction capable of handling the realest mountain bike abuse, Advent competes favourably with drivetrains that cost twice as much.
