NX Eagle is the latest addition to the SRAM 12-speed family, allowing riders wishing to experience the revelation of a 1x12 setup to get on board without the considerable financial commitment. Refinement of the engineering and production processes since the inception of Eagle has enabled SRAM to produce these excellent quality 1x12 components with more economical materials, without sacrificing the incredible performance and efficiency Eagle is known for.
The NX Eagle rear derailleur features a Type-3 roller bearing clutch mechanism that keeps the derailleur in check over rough terrain to prevent chain slap and ghost shifting (unwanted shifting due to derailleur bounce). The large 12T / 14T pulley wheels help facilitate fast and crisp shifting across the large 11-50T or 10-50T cassette, and the body also features a CageLock mechanism to make short work of drivetrain maintenance e.g. chain installation. X-Actuation technology is shared with the NX Eagle shifter to further enhance precise gear transmissions.
