Double-Row Angular-Contact Bearing used as a rear hub bearing for some rear hub designs and cane used as a suspension pivot bearing on a few Pivot and Santa Cruz bikes, though the MAX-type version of this bearing is more appropriate for suspension use. This ABEC-3 bearing features deep-groove design races, with grade 10 balls, and LLU seals give maximum protection against the elements, while keeping the 90% fill of high pressure water proof grease inside. The extra-wide double-row design greatly reduces flex in the axle of the rear hub or suspension linkage while doubling the bearing contact area.
The Enduro line of bearings are available in high-carbon chromium steel, 440C stainless steel, ceramic-hybrid and XD-15 with ceramic or stainless balls. Our bearings are always engineered with deepest groove races possible to accommodate the largest balls and feature dual-lip seals that ride in a micro-groove creating a full labyrinth to provide superior protection against the elements.
Bearings Seals
LLB Seals
Enduro's most popular light contact seal. LLB seals are comprised of Nitrile material rubber with a steel insert and ideally suited for constantly spinning bottom bracket and hub bearings. Rather than one thick 2RS seal lip rubbing on a blunt surface, LLB type utilizes two razor thin sealing lips riding in the bearing race groove. The outer lip keeps the water and contaminants out, while the inner lip retains grease for smooth function and longer intervals between servicing.
