Hutchinson Taipan Koloss MTB Enduro Ebike Tyre 27.5 is a monster Plus sized 27.5″ tyre designed for aggressive riding, with SpiderTech technology for the sidewalls and tread to increases sidewall stiffness to limit tyre squirm at low pressure and offer a quicker steering response.

Oversize “Plus” tires need a casing design to match their size. Our SpiderTech construction was designed specifically for our Koloss+ series. The double-thickness casing increases sidewall stiffness to limit tire squirm at low pressure and offer a quicker steering response. Optimal casing deflection maximizes tire contact patch so you get the full benefit of fatter rubber, and anti-puncture reinforcement under the tread limits flats from thorns and other objects.
