The Joint VPD knee pads are lightweight with high flexibility and considerable blunt impact protection. Well ventilated and with plenty of adjustment, they will prove comfortable on any mountain biker for a full day's ride. The Visco-elastic Polymer Dough layer remains soft and malleable when relaxed but hardens upon impact to distribute force away from the body.
