Shimano XTR 2-piston XC race brakes are performance optimised Servo-Wave systems with full adjustability on the fly.
Sleek and clean, with functionality to match the modern XTR brake system, the BL-M9200 is a perfect fit for top-end cross country race bikes. When paired with the XTR M9200 caliper, the system supplies balanced power and feel in a variety of terrain.
Improving upon the lightest post-mount offering from Shimano, the BR-M9200 two-piston post-mount caliper is equally at home on the World Cup cross country circuit when paired with BL-M9200 lever, or on rougher, steeper trails with the BL-M9220 enduro / trail lever. Heat-resistant resin pistons, resin and metal pad options, and new low viscosity mineral oil make the M9200 caliper the ideal option for any 2-piston brake requirement.

I-Spec EV
I-Spec EV creates a clean and action-optimised cockpit that provides greater focus and flexibility for a wider range of riders.

With its wider adjustment range, I-Spec EV levers can be adjusted to the optimal position to match a wider range of riding styles (Enduro / XC / etc...), rider preferences and rider anatomies (Hand and arm alignment).
I-Spec EV increases brake lever rigidity by moving the brake clamp position inward to create an extra point of contact between the bar and the lever. This additional bracing drastically increases bike control and braking engagement while maintaining space between the clamp and support point for other handlebar accessories.
Mono-Body
Shimano’s Mono-Body caliper is machined from a single cold forged block in order to maximize stiffness. A perfect balance of stiffness and weight, the Mono-Body caliper is a component of Shimano's linear response hydraulic disc brake system. Linear response equals strong power and superb controllability.

One Way Bleeding
“One Way Bleeding" was developed for quick and easy prevention of air in Shimano's hydraulic system. Shimano have streamlined the oil route throughout the system to prevent air bubbles from being captured in the system.
One way oil routing plus a funnel tool with mineral oil provides an easy and clean bleeding system.
